David’s specialisations are marketing and sales. However, he had P&L responsibility for complex international businesses for 15 years and has experience in finance, manufacturing, supply chain, IT and corporate planning. He understands how vertically-integrated businesses work and is interested in different types of business models and how they can add value for shareholders and stakeholders. David’s key strengths are dealing with complexity, strategy development, change-management, restructuring and building talent. He has the ability to work with a diverse range of people in a collaborative manner.

In training, coaching and mentoring there is nothing like the experience of having “been there and done that” to best assist individuals to overcome challenges, and focus their attention and work on what is most important for the achievement of their objectives. David has the hands-on experience, processes, tools and models that can develop and maximize the performance of individuals and teams. That experience allows David to act as a mentor, coach and trainer whenever the situation requires him to do so. Ethics and confidentiality are paramount during the journey.

David grew up in Melbourne and studied physical sciences at La Trobe University, before joining Esso/Exxon where he worked for 12 years in a broad variety of roles, including industrial chemist, B2B sales, marketing planning, corporate planning, operations management, and systems & technology management.
